Presentation Description / Summary: The Team Approach to Veterinary Neurology Clinical studies will explore clinical study design, share examples of clinical studies in veterinary neurology, and will highlight how to maximize the role of each team member to leverage the overall impacts of studies to benefit patients with neurological disease. This session will also briefly share career opportunities for VTS technicians within clinical studies.

Learner Outcomes: The Team Approach to Veterinary Neurology Clinical Studies will include the following learner objectives: 1. To explain the different types of clinical studies in veterinary neurology and how clinical study design can impact overall study outcomes. 2. List the role of each team member in studies utilzing examples on how to leverage skills and study responsibilities. 3. To gain familiarity with the skills utilized in successful clinical studies, the audience will also have an opportunity to expand their knowledge in this area.

Although this presentation will focus on neurology studies, most of the content will be applicable in other IM topic areas.
