Dr. Karen Munana is a diplomate of the ACVIM subspecialty of Neurology. She currently holds the position of Professor of Neurology at NC State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Her research interest is canine epilepsy, with a focus on evaluating the effectiveness of novel anti-seizure therapies and understanding whey some dogs respond poorly to treatment. She has authored nearly 100 papers and book chapters on topics pertaining to veterinary neurology, and has been an invited speaker at national and international veterinary meetings.
