Dr. Cooper Brookshire is a Veterinary Epidemiologist and small animal clinician at Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He worked in small animal general practice for five years before returning to academia in 2015. He is board certified in Veterinary Preventive Medicine, Veterinary Epidemiology, and by ABVP in Canine and Feline Practice. His research, clinical, and teaching interests include antimicrobial stewardship, antimicrobial resistance, epidemiology, One Health, shelter medicine, and biosecurity.
