Dr Gillian Perkins is a Full Clinical Professor of Large Animal Internal Medicine at Cornell University where she also serves as the Associate Hospital Director with oversight of the Equine and Nemo Farm Animal Hospital. Dr Perkins is the faculty advisor for the student chapter of the American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP) and works closely with the equine veterinary students. Her research interests are mainly vaccinology, pathogenesis and diagnostic testing of infectious diseases such as Equine Herpes Virus-1 and salmonellosis.
