Brad graduated with his DVM degree in 1989 and practiced in northern Canada before returning to study ion channel diseases at Johns Hopkins Medical School, the University of Toronto, and the University of Guelph, earning his PhD in Biophysics in 1997. He has taught in the BSc, DVM, OD, and graduate programs at the universities of Guelph and Waterloo, primarily in the areas of pharmacology and clinical trial critical appraisal. Brad has been a faculty member in the Department of Biomedical Sciences at Guelph since 2001.
