Dr. Lashnits is a clinical assistant professor in small animal internal medicine at University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine. She received her masters from Stanford University, then her DVM from Cornell University and PhD from North Carolina State University, where she also completed her small animal internal medicine residency. Her broad research interest is in infectious disease epidemiology using a One Health context, and she focuses on zoonotic and vector borne diseases as well as improving access to high-quality care for infectious and endocrine diseases in underserved veterinary populations.
