Jiwoong Her received his DVM from the Chungnam National University in South Korea and completed his evaluated clinical experience at the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. He completed his master’s degree and residency in Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2020. Upon completion of the residency, he became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care and joined the Ohio State University. He is currently an assistant professor in Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care as well as a fellow in extracorporeal therapy. His clinical research and scholarly interests include oxygenation, ventilation, kidney injury, fluid therapy, and extracorporeal therapies.
