Mireille Meylan is professor for ruminant internal medicine and head of the Clinic for Ruminants at the University of Bern. She worked first in practice and at the University of Bern, before coming over for a residency at the Ohio State University where she also obtained a MS degree. Back in Switzerland, she obtained her PhD and her habilitation from the University of Bern. She has been active in the European College of Bovine Health Management for many years in various functions. Her main current research interests include infectious and digestive disease, calf health and antimicrobial use and resistance.
