Dr. Stacie Summers is a board-certified specialist in small animal internal medicine and assistant professor at Oregon State University. She completed a residency and a Ph.D. at Colorado State University. Her Ph.D. work was on novel etiologies and the role of the gut microbiome in cats with chronic kidney disease. Her current research focus is on the gut microbiome as a therapeutic target in chronic kidney disease.
