Subcutaneous ureteral bypass (SUB) devices are a lifesaving treatment for patients who present with an obstruction of their kidney(s) and/or their ureter(s). Due to the increased longevity of life for these patients after initial intervention, urinary calculi can build up or kinks may develop in the system. These complications can require surgical revision, as illustrated with this case.
