Purina Institute is offering the “Clinical studies: Setting up for Success” program at the ACVIM Forum in Minneapolis. This program aims to help residents design and complete successful research projects, encourage future interest in scientific discovery, and enable long-term success as the veterinary thought leaders of tomorrow.

1st, 2nd and 3rd year residents focused in Small Animal Nutrition, Small Animal Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Neurology, and Oncology are invited to join this program set to take place at the ACVIM Forum on Saturday, June 8th, from 12:00 pm – 5:30 pm, followed by a social event at the Hilton Gallery on the lobby level. Due to the support from the Purina Institute, this program is offered for $25 upon registration (which will be reimbursed after you complete the program), meals will be provided and reimbursement for the Saturday night accommodation at the Headquarter Hotel (Hilton Minneapolis) is available.

Learning Objectives:

  • Upon completion, the participant will have the tools to frame a research question.
  • Upon completion, the participant will have the tools to choose basic statistical plans.
  • Upon completion, the participant will be able to craft a valid consent form.
