The attendee will become familiar with common terminology regarding optics and illumination.
The attendee will learn the common forms of surgical magnification including loupes, surgical exoscopes and surgical microscopes. The modalities will be compared and contrasted.
Clinical applications through case examples will be demonstrated.
Newer technologies including virtual and augmented reality will be introduced.
