An overview of how NGF contributes to the pain and inflammation of osteoarthritis and a review of the mechanism of anti-NGF mAbs and how they interfere with the effects of NGF. This lecture will also cover the AHHA and WSAVA pain management guidelines and how anti-NGF mAbs fit in as a first-line treatment for OA pain. Efficacy and Safety information and case reports. for the anti-NGF mAbs will also be discussed.
