Presentation Description / Summary: This will be an in depth discussed of the physiology of the Renin Angiotensin Aldosterone System and its relationship with the acute kidney injury. Recent literature from human medicine will be utilized to demonstrate how these derangements can affect the clinical progression and pathophysiology of the acute kidney injury and effected patients. There will be a focus on Acute Kidney Injury associated with sepsis.
