Presentation Description / Summary: Many veterinary professionals are worried about discussing nutrition with owners in case it turns into an argument. Diets (food) are very closely interwound with emotions, explaining to an owner that what they believe is the best that they are doing for their pet, isn't correct will create negativity. Altering people’s beliefs on what is the best nutrition for their pet is part of the change cycle and therefore needs to be approached appropriately and constructively.
