This presentation provides an in-depth discussion of canine and feline cardiomyopathies, including dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM), hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), and arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy (ARVC). Subclasses, different clinical presentations, and treatment options are discussed.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion, the participant will have the understanding of the pathophysiology of DCM, HCM, and ARVC.
Upon completion, the participant will feel confident recognizing clinical signs of patients with advanced-stage primary cardiomyopathies.
