Presentation Description / Summary: A review of the basis of algorithm development for imaging based AI, experience in development the leading standard for veterinary imaging, practical application for veterinary teams with case examples, and future directions of the technology with applicability to standard of care will be provided.

Learner Outcomes: 1. Understand realistic expectations and limits of AI based imaging as augmentation to traditional case management. 2. Identify with application of AI technology as augmentation to traditional approach to case management, improving the standard of care offered by any one individual practitioner. 3. Understand best care is offered by combination of Human Intelligence (HI) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), rather than either HI or AI alone.
