Presentation Description / Summary: This presentation will review the anatomical structures and pathways of the vestibular system. This lecture will also review the differences that can be seen with peripheral, central, and paradoxical vestibular disease and how neurological exam findings can vary between the three. Differentials for vestibular disease in cats and dogs will be reviewed as well as diagnostic options, treatments, and outcome for the various diseases. MR images will be reviewed for various cases and several cases will be reviewed in detail.
