Lauren Chittick is a research specialist at the Midwestern University College of Veterinary Medicine. She graduated from University of Arizona with a B.S. in Biology, and is currently completing her M.S. in Biomedical Diagnostics at Arizona State University. Her research background is in environmental microbiology, but current research includes small animal immunologic studies as well as the veterinary pathogen, Streptococcus suis. Lauren lives in Phoenix with her husband and their two cats and two dogs, and intends to apply to veterinary school in the near future.
