Dr. Gallagher completed a residency in small animal internal medicine at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine, earned a Master’s degree in Biomedical and Veterinary Sciences, and became board-certified in 2008. Afterwards, Dr. Gallagher spent 14 year on faculty at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine as a Clinical Assistant and then Clinical Associate Professor where he helped build an interventional endoscopy and interventional radiology service. In August 2022, he left UF to join Columbia Veterinary Emergency Trauma and Specialty in South Carolina as a staff internist and interventionalist.
