Cathay Wu, DVM, Diplomate, ACVIM (Cardiology), is a Board-Certified Veterinary Cardiologist at MedVet Houston Bay Area. Dr. Wu attended Duke University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then attended the Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine where she earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Following veterinary school, she completed a small animal rotating internship at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She then completed a cardiology internship and residency at MedVet Columbus. Dr. Cathay Wu has a special interest in interventional PDA procedures and degenerative mitral valve disease. In her spare time, she also enjoys crafting and traveling to try new foods.
