Dr. Amir Kol is an Associate Professor of Veterinaruy Clinical Pathology at UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Kol’s research focus is comparative stem cell biology and its application to regenerative medicine and disease modeling. Specifically, his lab focuses on mesenchymal stem/stromal cell therapy for lymphoid tissue regeneration in chronic viral infections, canine induced pluripotent stem cells and intestinal organoids. Dr. Kol is the Chair of the Board of Directors of the North American Veterinary Regenerative Medicine Association (NAVRMA).
