Bianca Lourenço obtained her veterinary degree from the University of Porto in Portugal in 2010. After rotating internships at the University of Cambridge and North Carolina State University, she completed a small animal internal medicine residency and a Ph.D. in nephrology at the University of Georgia in 2016 and 2019, respectively. She then joined the internal medicine faculty at UGA, where she is part of a collaborative renal research group.
