Emily Gould is a board certified small animal internal medicine specialist who received her DVM from the University of California at Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, completed both her Masters Degree and residency in small animal internal medicine at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine, and was just awarded her PhD in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences, and her research interests include the immunomodulatory effects of acid suppressants, as well as advancement of diagnositc and therapeutic techniques for auto-immune and oncologic disorders in dogs and cats.
