Dr. Jenessa Winston is an Assistant Professor at the Ohio State University. As a clinician scientist, she is a founding member of the OSU Comparative Hepatobiliary and Intestinal Research Program (CHIRP) and director of the OSU Companion Animal Fecal Bank and Research Platform. Jenessa serves on the OSU Center for Microbiome Sciences Executive Advisory Board and chair of international Companion Animal Fecal Microbiota Transplant Consortium. Her primary research areas include microbe-host interactions during health and disease and rational manipulation of microbial ecosystems including therapeutic interventions such as fecal microbiota transplantation.
