Clinical Evaluation and Education Specialist
Antech
Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, United States
Jessica has been a technician for over 15 years. She has Masters in animal science and received her AS in veterinary technology from St. Petersburg College. She has worked in the university setting and more recently at a large hybrid practice. Her primary focuses have been in internal medicine, nutrition, and clinical pathology, but truthfully, she enjoys almost everything about vet med. She also has a VTS in small animal internal medicine. She grew up in a family of educators and like many other children of teachers loves to teach. This passion for educating has led to her new role with Antech where she is helping with the development of education centered around laboratory diagnostics and point-of-care instrumentation. She is passionate about teaching other technicians/nurses about laboratory medicine/clinical pathology and how they can have a true impact on patient outcomes and care through the lab. It is a place where technicians can really shine.
