Dr. Kate Aicher received her DVM from Texas A&M University, and went on to complete a rotating internship at the University of Tennessee and then a SAIM residency at North Carolina State University. Following her residency, Dr. Aicher worked in a multi-hospital specialty and emergency practice for five years. Dr. Aicher joined the team at Texas A&M at the West (VERO) campus in 2021, and relocated to the College Station A&M campus in 2022. She is currently an Assistant Professor of small animal internal medicine in the Gastrointestinal Lab and is passionate about hepatobiliary disease in companion animals. She has worked with the Dog Aging Project since 2022 as part of the medical records review team for TRIAD.
