Dr. Lashnits is a clinical assistant professor in small animal internal medicine at University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine. She received her masters from Stanford University, DVM from Cornell University, and PhD from North Carolina State University, where she also completed her residency. Her broad research interest is in infectious disease epidemiology in a One Health context, particularly dedicated to making specialist-level care accessible to underserved veterinary populations.
