Soyeon Park is a DVM currently working as a small animal internist at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, College of Veterinary Medicine, Kyungpook National University. She is currently pursuing a Master's degree at the same university. After obtaining her bachelor's degree from Kyungpook National University College of Veterinary Medicine, she acquired her DVM license and gained experience as a veterinarian at a secondary animal hospital in Busan. Currently, she focuses on small animal infectious diseases, actively participating in the diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases in small animals, as well as research on zoonotic infectious diseases.
Recently, she presented a poster titled "A Survey on Zoonotic Multidrug-Resistant Organisms Isolated from Companion Animals at a Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory in South Korea (2019-2022)" at the Korean Society of Zoonoses Conference.
