Sharanne is Professor of Equine Internal Medicine at Charles Sturt University, Wagga Wagga (Australia), where she contributes to primary accession and referral equine medicine caseload at the Veterinary Clinical Center, and to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. She also maintains research activity, primarily focused on equine infectious diseases, neonatology and pharmacology. When not chasing horses, students or (grown-up) children, she will typically be found riding a bike, or enjoying the traditional post-ride beverage. The study described is a collaborative effort, as acknowledged in the presentation, funded in part by AgriFutures Australia.
