I am from Puerto Rico and I moved to the US to pursue studies for a veterinary career. I went to St. George's University Veterinary School in Grenada and did my clinical year at Virginia Tech. Afterwards, I went to BluePearl Pet Hospital in Tampa where I completed a small animal rotating internship in medicine and surgery followed by a small animal internal medicine specialty internship before pursuing a residency in small animal internal medicine. I then completed the residency in July 2023 and have been working as a full time internist at the BluePearl Pet Hospital at Clearwater.
