Dr. Rhonda LaFleur has worked as a research scientist in Merck Animal Health’s Research and Development Department in Elkhorn, Nebraska for the past 25 years. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln and her PhD in Molecular Veterinary Biosciences from the University of Minnesota. She has served as the Project Leader in the development of several US companion animal vaccines including, Nobivac® Lyme, Nobivac® DAPPv + Lepto4, Nobivac® Canine Flu H3N2, Nobivac® Canine Flu Bivalent, Nobivac® Intra-Trac® Oral Bb, and recently Nobivac® Intra-Trac® Oral BbPi. She currently manages several projects and leads a team of scientists that continue to look for innovative ways to keep dogs and cats protected from disease while helping veterinarians and clinical staff members provide a customer experience that is safe, efficient, and convenient.
