Dr. Blake obtained a Masters degree in 2017 and a doctoral degree in 2022 from the Gastrointestinal Laboratory, Texas A&M University based on her work which focused on the roles of lactate and amino acids in gastrointestinal diseases. She is currently working as an associate research scientist in the gastrointestinal lab with a focus on metabolomic assay development and optimization using a variety of anaytical techniques including mass spectrometry.
