Kayla Dunn is Laboratory Manager & Research Lead at the veterinary diagnostic reference laboratory for MySimplePetLab. Based in Denver, CO, she oversees pet testing operations and leads ongoing research activities that explore the diagnostic integrity of samples collected from the home environment. With dual bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Psychology from Georgia Southern University, she started her lab and research career at the University of Georgia, under the direction of Drs. Ray Kaplan and Pablo Jimenez Castro, where she collaborated on a multitude of anti-parasitic research projects. Research publications in which she collaborated can be found in PLOS, JAVMA, among other journals and conferences proceedings.
