Nicolas obtained his DVM degree at the University of La Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina. He completed an Internship at Kawell Equine Hospital, Argentina (2009-2010). After the internship, He worked in private equine practice, mainly in the area of Internal Medicine and Neonatology in several countries and equine hospitals, including Argentina, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Colombia. During the period between 2016 and 2019, He followed a residency program (Equine track) at Ghent University (Belgium) to become a Diplomate in the European College of Veterinary and Comparative Nutrition (ECVCN). Currently, He is doing his PhD project about Pituitary pars intermedia dysfunction (PPID) in horses at the Melbourne Veterinary School, Faculty of Sciences, Melbourne University, Victoria, Australia.
