Dr. Brostoff completed her DVM and PhD at UC Davis, after which she spent several years in private practice. She returned for a postdoctoral fellowship, and achieved board certification from the American College of Veterinary Microbiology with subspecialties in virology and immunology in 2021. She is now faculty at UC Davis, where her research focuses on development of novel diagnostics and preventatives for infectious diseases such as FIP.
