Angel is Assistant Professor of Cattle Health and Wellbeing at the Michigan State University (MSU) College of Veterinary Medicine. He obtained his DVM and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain). He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (Dairy Practice) and of the European College of Bovine Health Management, as well as an Associate Member of the ACVIM-LAIM. Angel’s research focuses on the interplay between nutrition, metabolism, and immune function in dairy cows and calves.
