Hemangioblastomas are rare, generally benign tumors of the central nervous system that are highly vascular. They tend to multiply, as this patients did. In a 14 month period, multiple spinal tumors, later confirmed as hemangioblastomas, were found between the patients cervical and thoracic spine. In this presentation, we explore the diagnostics, nursing care, surgical intervention, treatments, and end of life care that this patient received while learning about this rare spinal cancer.
