Presentation Description / Summary: This presentation will review important aspects of renal physiology using clinical applications that will engage the audience. Aspects that will be reviewed will include renal blood flow and the renin-angiotensin -aldosterone system, modulators and stimulation of erythropoiesis within the kidney, and biomarkers of kidney injury.

Learner Outcomes: Learning objectives for this presentation include: 1. List 3 functions of the kidney, 2.  List 4 biomarkers of acute and chronic kidney injury and site of generation and release, 3. List at least 3 important co-transport pathways in renal tubules.
