Presentation Description / Summary: We all want to achieve mental wellbeing and function in that mindset, even in stressful situations. Many techniques have been advocated towards that goal, but like building a house, if the foundation is not solid, the house will not stand. At the core of our personal foundation are our values, which serve as our guide, our motivation, and the source of our inner strength. Surprisingly, although people acknowledge the importance of values, most do not have clarity about their own. This often results in inner tension, especially when our actions are in conflict with our values. Understanding our values, how these direct our lives, and how they create our inner strength result in more purposeful actions that are aligned with who we are.
