Presentation Description / Summary: The latest information regarding the role of particulate exposure on airway inflammation will be discussed. The role of essential fatty acids and specialized pro-resolving mediators in the modulation of airway inflammation will be reviewed. The latest findings from a clinical trial conducted in Thoroughbred racehorses supplemented with fish oil or corn oil will be presented to illustrate implications for patient management and therapy.
